Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Patricia Butler and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in the South Park area of Charlotte, North Carolina since 1991. I work with individuals (age 18 and over), couples, and groups. The decision to engage in therapy is an important decision and it is essential that clients experience a “good fit” with the therapist they choose. I take seriously the trust that my clients place in me when they choose to work with me in psychotherapy. I believe good psychotherapy creates a safe, respectful, and non- judgemental space where clients can identify and explore issues of deep importance to them in their lives whether those issues be internal or interpersonal. My goal is to help my clients identify and explore the issues and conflicts which brought them to therapy, to discover and reconnect to their inherent strengths and resources, and to restore a sense of resiliency as they meet the challenges of their lives.
